Quality medicine is the core of our practice. Capital City Veterinary Clinic is a full-service Animal Hospital offering comprehensive patient care that goes well beyond the basics. We regularly provide advanced care, comprehensive testing and diagnostics, and complex surgical procedures. Because we offer urgent care services seven days a week, including weekends, you will gain valuable experience managing a wide variety of time-sensitive and critical cases, ensuring continuous professional development in diagnostics and treatment planning.

Additional Hospital Information & What We are Looking For:
• Interest In: Small-animal general practice including wellness exams and preventative care, diagnostic testing, advanced medical care, surgical procedures (routine and advanced), urgent care capabilities, dental services, parasite prevention, pain management, and client education for overall pet wellness.
• Open to New Graduates or Experienced Veterinarians: Open to both! New graduates will find a practice that values learning and growth with supportive team members, while experienced doctors are welcomed to contribute strong clinical expertise and help shape best-practice medicine.
• Supportive, Experienced Technical Staff: A professional support team that collaborates closely with veterinarians on diagnostics, anesthesia, surgery, dental care, and urgent cases, focused on high-quality patient care and strong client communication.
• Layout Specifics: A full-service veterinary facility offering wellness and preventative care space, exam rooms, surgical and dental suites, diagnostic imaging and testing, in-house pharmacy and treatment areas, designed to support effective workflows and excellent patient outcomes.
• Collaborative Team Environment: A mission-driven clinic where staff treat clients like family and pets like their own, emphasizing compassionate care and partnership with pet owners throughout every stage of their pet’s life.
• Patient Mix: Primarily dogs and cats with a rewarding general practice caseload that includes wellness, diagnostics, urgent care, and advanced medical support for pets of all ages.

Who We're Looking For
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
- A valid state license and in good standing to practice.
- A collaborative spirit and a dedication to practicing the highest standard of medicine.
- Excellent communication skills with a positive, friendly attitude.
