The core focus of Goodwin Animal Hospital is comprehensive small animal veterinary medicine across all life stages. We provide a full spectrum of services including specialized wellness and prevention strategies, robust testing and diagnostics, advanced surgical procedures, and essential urgent and emergency care. Since our AAHA accreditation requires us to regularly meet or exceed standards in critical areas like anesthesia, patient monitoring, exam facilities, and diagnostic imaging, you can be assured you are delivering care using modern, high-quality medical protocols every day.
While our physical location is in Pike Road, Alabama, we operate as a long-time trusted resource for the entire surrounding Montgomery community. This established regional presence means you will quickly become integrated into a strong client base that values high-quality, comprehensive veterinary services. What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like
- Flexible Schedule: We are looking for a part-time Associate (2 days a week and every third Saturday).
- Build Lasting Relationships: Connect with clients and their pets, becoming their trusted partner in a pet's lifelong health.
- Practice Your Best Medicine: From diagnosis to treatment, you'll lead patient care with the freedom to uphold the highest standards.
- Educate and Empower: Clearly communicate findings and treatment plans, empowering clients to make informed decisions.
- Collaborate and Grow: Work alongside a supportive paraprofessional team, contributing to a positive hospital culture.
Who We're Looking For
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
- A valid state license and in good standing to practice.
- A collaborative spirit and a dedication to practicing the highest standard of medicine.
- Excellent communication skills with a positive, friendly attitude.
