Your Impact as an Urgent Care Veterinarian
As an Urgent Care Veterinarian, you will lead the medical management of same-day urgent cases, providing high-quality care for "stable-but-urgent" patients. This role is designed for a clinician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the variety of outpatient emergencies and minor surgical interventions, all while maintaining a sustainable schedule without overnight requirements.
Your Impact Will Include:
- Lead Urgent Care Cases: You will be the primary point of care for same-day urgent cases, providing efficient diagnostic workups and treatments for acute conditions.
- Practice Your Best Medicine: From diagnosis to treatment, you'll lead patient care with the freedom to uphold the highest AAHA-accredited standards.
- Build Lasting Relationships: Even in an urgent care setting, you will connect with clients and their pets, becoming their trusted partner during stressful or unexpected medical moments.
- Educate and Empower: Clearly communicate findings and treatment plans, empowering clients to make informed decisions about their pet's urgent health needs.
- Collaborate and Grow: Work alongside a supportive paraprofessional team, contributing to a positive hospital culture where mentorship and teamwork are foundational.
Who We're Looking For
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
- A valid state license and in good standing to practice.
- A collaborative spirit and a dedication to practicing the highest standard of medicine.
- Excellent communication skills with a positive, friendly, and compassionate attitude.
