Our commitment to advanced medicine is central to our practice. As an AAHA accredited hospital, we meet strict standards across nearly every medical aspect, including surgical procedures, patient care, diagnostic imaging, and anesthesiology. You will have the opportunity to utilize your skills across comprehensive services for small animals, including specialized surgical procedures, urgent and emergency care, wellness and prevention, and sophisticated testing and diagnostics. Additionally, we are equipped to handle complex medical cases, offering specialized care including exotics medicine, further expanding the scope of your practice in the River Region.

Job Description

Your Impact as a Pet Groomer

  • Showcase Your Artistry: You'll deliver high-quality grooming services for all breeds of dogs and cats, utilizing your full range of skills in scissoring, clipping, and finishing.
  • Champion a Positive Pet Experience: You'll use your calming presence and expert handling skills to comfort nervous pets, ensuring a low-stress and positive experience for every animal in your care.
  • Build Trusting Client Relationships: You’ll be the face of our grooming services, consulting with clients to understand their needs, providing expert advice, and building a loyal clientele.
  • Maintain a Professional Salon: You'll uphold a high standard of cleanliness and organization, ensuring your workstation is always tidy, safe, and welcoming.

What You'll Bring to the Team

  • At least 2-3 years of experience as a professional pet groomer.
  • A passion for creating a positive, low-stress experience for every pet.
  • Excellent skills in all aspects of grooming for dogs and cats, including nail trims, ear cleanings, and anal gland expression.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to outstanding client service, with the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • The physical ability to handle pets up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
