Additional Hospital Information & What We Are Looking For:
• Interest In: Small-animal general practice in a full-service, community-trusted veterinary hospital offering a wide range of medical, surgical, and preventative care. Clinical interests may include wellness exams, preventative medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, internal medicine, pain management, and client education. The hospital also supports exotics, laser therapy, creating a dynamic and well-rounded caseload for veterinarians who enjoy both routine and more acute cases.
• Medical Lead / Experienced Veterinarian: We are seeking an experienced veterinarian to step into a Medical Lead role a primarily clinical position with meaningful leadership influence. This role is ideal for a confident clinician who enjoys practicing high-quality medicine while helping guide clinical standards, support team alignment, and elevate the overall quality of care across the hospital.
• Supportive, Experienced Technical Staff: Practice alongside a dedicated and highly capable support team that partners closely with doctors to deliver excellent patient care. The team provides strong support in anesthesia monitoring, surgical and dental assistance, diagnostics, and treatment workflows allowing the Medical Lead to focus on medicine and clinical leadership rather than administrative burden.
• Layout & Facility Highlights: A well-equipped, full-service veterinary hospital featuring multiple exam rooms, treatment and diagnostic areas, surgical and dental capabilities, in-house diagnostics, and efficient workflows designed to support high-quality care and smooth daily operations. The hospital’s capabilities allow doctors to manage a broad range of cases from preventative care to more advanced procedures.
• Collaborative Leadership Environment: The Medical Lead will partner closely with hospital leadership and the veterinary team to guide medical protocols, promote best practices, and support consistency in clinical decision-making. This is a doctor-first leadership role, focused on medicine and mentorship of standards, not heavy administrative oversight.
• Patient Mix: A diverse and engaging caseload primarily consisting of dogs and cats, and exotics (if you so choose) including preventative care, medical workups, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care presentations offering a balanced and clinically fulfilling experience.

Clinical Responsibilities (80–90%)
- Provide high-quality, compassionate veterinary care across general practice, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and urgent care cases
- Independently manage routine, complex, and chronic cases with strong clinical judgment
- Communicate clearly and effectively with clients regarding diagnostics, treatment plans, and outcomes
- Lead by example on the floor, modeling strong medicine, professionalism, and patient care
Medical Lead / Leader of Medicine Responsibilities (10–20%)
- Serve as the clinical leader and medical authority within the hospital
- Guide medical standards, protocols, and consistency in case management
- Support clinical decision-making and act as a resource for complex cases
- Partner with hospital leadership to enhance workflows, best practices, and patient outcomes
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement

Who We're Looking For
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
- A valid state license and in good standing to practice.
