You will be utilizing comprehensive services including Wellness and Prevention protocols, advanced Testing and Diagnostics, and necessary Surgical Procedures. The facility is equipped to handle emergency care and offers Advanced Care options, giving you the professional scope to handle complex cases and continue growing your clinical skills right in the heart of Warrenton.

🔹 Licensed Veterinary Technician (Full-Time & Part-Time Available)
Full-Time Schedule:
• 4-day work week
• NO weekends
Compensation:
• $25–$35/hour (based on experience)
• $2,000 Sign-On Bonus
🏥 About Our Practice
Piedmont Pets Veterinary Care is a busy, two-doctor practice providing compassionate, comprehensive care to pets in Warrenton, Virginia. Each doctor sees approximately 12–15 patients per day, allowing us to provide attentive, quality care while maintaining a productive workflow.
We are a well-equipped hospital that values efficiency, teamwork, and patient comfort.
? Our Services & Equipment Include:
• Routine wellness care
• Soft tissue surgery (performed 4 days per week)
• In-house diagnostics
• Zoetis/Abaxis lab equipment
• EZVet software
• Digital full-body x-ray (performed for all patients as needed)
• Dedicated dental suite with dental table & dental x-ray
• Traveling ultrasonographer for diagnostic ultrasound
• Low-stress handling techniques whenever possible
✅ What We’re Looking For
We are seeking Licensed Veterinary Technicians of all experience levels who are:
• Proficient in technical and clinical skills
• Comfortable with anesthesia monitoring and surgical support
• Experienced (or eager to grow) in dentistry and radiology
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills
• Passionate about patient care
• Interested in working in a fast-paced, supportive environment
Surgical experience is strongly preferred.

Your Impact as a Licensed Veterinary Technician
Note: The Licensed Veterinary Technician title is used in various states based on state-specific licensing and credentialing requirements. Responsibilities may vary depending on the hospital and/or state and will be outlined by the state’s Veterinary Practice Act and/or the responsible veterinarian, where applicable.
- Utilize Your Full Skillset: You'll be a vital part of the medical team, providing comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work.
- Be a Leader and Mentor: You’ll guide and support the medical team, ensuring an efficient workflow while mentoring others to help them grow their skills and careers.
- Partner with Clients: You'll be a key point of contact for pet owners, educating them on treatments, reviewing medical records, and confidently answering their questions.
- Contribute to a Positive Culture: You'll play an active role in training, providing feedback, and maintaining the high standards of our hospital environment.
What You'll Bring to the Team
- Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
- A current state veterinary technician license (LVT) in good standing.
- Proficiency in a range of technical skills, including nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
- A calm and efficient approach, especially in fast-paced or stressful situations.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively.
- One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.
