Job Description

Your Role as a Facility Attendant

As a Facility Attendant, you are an integral member of the veterinary hospital team, directly supporting the health and well-being of the animals we care for. You are responsible for ensuring the overall hygiene of the clinic meets strict OSHA compliance standards for animal health care facilities. By maintaining a spotless environment—from the lobby to the kennels—you create a safe, welcoming, and professional atmosphere for our clients, patients, and medical team.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Client Experience: You will keep the lobby and reception area clean, organized, and customer-facing to ensure a positive first impression for every visitor.
  • Sanitation & Hygiene: You will clean and sanitize kennels as pets are checked out and ensure exam rooms, bathrooms, and offices meet high hygiene standards.
  • Floor & Surface Care: You will vacuum, sweep, and mop all hard surface floors, wash windows and doors, and maintain breakroom cleanliness by wiping counters and sweeping.
  • Waste Management: You will empty trash in all rooms, condense it into appropriate containers outside, and maintain the exterior grounds by picking up pet waste around the hospital building.
  • Inventory & Compliance: You will record daily tasks on provided checklists and advise the Hospital Manager of any cleaning supplies needed to maintain operations.
