Job Description

Livewell Animal Hospital of Canyon Rim is excited to welcome our very first associate veterinarian. This is a milestone that reflects our rapid growth and the strong foundation we’ve built in this community. As a brand-new hospital, this is a rare opportunity to step into a thriving practice early and play a meaningful role in shaping its future alongside a supportive and experienced team.

Our hospital is led by Dr. David Vaas, a highly skilled surgeon with decades of experience building and leading successful practices. He is deeply committed to mentorship and providing a space for your clinical abilities to shine. Working side by side with the team, you’ll have the opportunity to expand your surgical and medical skills in a collaborative environment where teaching and learning are part of our everyday culture.

We’ve thoughtfully designed our hospital with Fear Free principles in mind, creating a space that supports both you and your patients. From the layout to the overall client experience, every detail is intended to reduce stress and allow you to practice high-quality medicine while building strong, trusting relationships with clients and their pets.

Located in the Canyon Rim neighborhood of Salt Lake City, we’re surrounded by the best of both city living and outdoor adventure. With easy access to hiking, skiing, and a vibrant local community, you’ll find plenty of ways to enjoy your time outside of the hospital.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a veterinarian who is excited to be part of something from the ground up, contribute to a positive team culture, and take full advantage of strong mentorship while developing their own clinical interests.
